A New Coven Is Born

We are officially recognized! On the night of Imbolc 2025, we joyfully begin the story of the Serenity's Pride coven. Within our overarching Spiral Tree Tradition, this is the traditional time of year for new beginnings, particularly new covens, and the dedication and elevation of their members. Within the Wheel of the Year, this halfway point between the winter solstice and spring equinox speaks of the coming end of the dark season. The lengthening days will get longer; the warming winds will get warmer. Life will return, and there we will find our new selves, ready to begin the season of growth.

Within the ritual of coven birthing, we shared our vision for the Work we will do together, asking for the blessing and support of the Gods and Goddesses, the ancestors, and each other. We set forth with the purpose to practice together as a family of trust, to work magic in partnership with the elements and with Spirit, and to discover and embody our individual values.

As we breathe in the cold winter's air, we stay warm within, anticipation glowing in our hearts. We know within ourselves, and each other - our purpose is true, as is our commitment, as we begin our journey on this new path. We invite the challenges that are destined to help us grow, and we welcome the unknowable rewards of deep, mutually supported practice.
